Updated 11:50 a.m. EDT, 30 Oct 2026

We asked a few students around campus, “what’s the best Halloween costume you’ve ever dressed up in?” Here are the responses we got!

“One time I was Diana Prince (Wonder Woman’s alias). I was really proud of that costume.” – Jean Elwell ‘29

“One year I was Princess Leia. We loved making costumes out of bedsheets.” – Ana Schreier ‘28

“I was Anakin Skywalker from episode 2, my friend was Anakin Skywalker from episode 3, and my dad was Darth Vader.” – Silas Miller ‘30

“I was a flower and my face was the center of the flower and the petals went around my head. I think I was like seven.” – Sam Renken ‘27

“When I was younger my grandma made me a Dorothy costume.” – Emmalee Coffin ‘27

“Last year I was a butterfly and my boyfriend was a butterfly catcher.” – Gracie Stickels ‘27

“One time I wore Pringles cans on my hands – you can’t really pick anything up. I also had a monocle and my friends called me the Pringles guy.” – Simeon Stanley ‘29

“My favorite is when I dress up as a judge, and when kids come trick or treat at Gillette I have them spin a wheel with silly crimes on it. Then their punishment is that they have to eat candy that makes their teeth fall out!” – Jozie Zickafoose ‘28

“Two years ago I was a post-apocalyptic sheriff. I had a long coat and a badge and hat and everything and then a gas mask and black goggles.” – Peter Murray ‘29
